Only one day after South Korea put in public a deal made with United Nations about missile range extend North Korea claimed they poses the missiles that can reach the US land. As the Korean Central News Agency reported North Korean rockets can reach US bases in Guam, Japan, but also US main land. In addition to this North Korean claim goes the testing they have done earlier this year. The North Korean officials said that it was a satellite launch, but officials from America, South Korea and United Nations were concerned, they think it was a cover for developing long distance, maybe even intercontinental, rockets. Nevertheless most of the Western analysts are sure that this claim is a lie. They agreed in one – North Korea would like to have that much military power, but they have never showed it in public. Creating such a super missiles that can reach the US land is a huge job. It’s not something you can just build over the time you need to develop it, to run all sorts of open space tests. This kind of an activity it’s not possible to hide. North Korea had to react this way because now with this extended range South Korean missiles can reach northern areas of North Korea. This was the second missile range extend for South Korea. In 1972 South Korea has agreed to put down the limits for the missiles to 180 kilometers, in exchange South Korea received a new missile technology from US. This agreement remained up to 2001. In 2001 South Korea got approval to extend missile range from 180 to 300 kilometers. This kind of propaganda is not something new in North Korea. Reaching the hart of the USA is something they have already announced several years ago but these are not the true threats, they are just tool in anti American propaganda in North Korea. Usually these kinds of threats are followed with big posters of bombed White House. Nevertheless in the purpose of saving world peace international agents are monitoring the activities in North Korea constantly. One thing is certain, North Korea would like to poses this kind of devastating weapons and they may even try to developed it during the next years, but international groups of agents and troops will not allowed it to happen. A small remainder. The South and North Korea singed a truce in 1953 with this truce they ended the Korean war that was lasting from 1950 up to 1953. Two Koreas never signed official peace treaty and technically they are still in war. Since 1953 there was no a real war but tensions are still very high, with some incidents going in the both sides every few years. At this moment there are over 28 000 US solders placed in South Korea, their job there is to be a peace guaranty between two Koreas.
